Located at a football stadium in Darlington, the venue for Sword and Lance is quite unusual - being in conference rooms with proper tables, good lighting and even carpeted floor which made for a pleasantly comfortable experience.
We arrived to find out our single table had been upgraded to two thanks to some creative layout adjustments, this allowed, myself, Emma Jane and David F to spread out a selection of models across the available space.
Some new Connies joined David's multi-engine line-up.
My new-for-2024 ground base scenes joined a selection of single-engine types on the vignette selection.
Emma Jane had a lovely array of Gunpla models.
The show was very busy, particularly around lunchtime and the table garnered a lot of interest and comment from visitors and fellow displayers.
