Zvezda IL-76

After seeing an IL-76 after a visit to Waddington & Conningsby in the good old days I decided to make the Zveda IL-76 in Indian Air Force colours but decided to wait until someone released the makings for it. Mark 1 released a set of roundels so the build was on. However I would need to make my own code's & Indian Air Force titles. All pretty simple except the port side tilting was in what suppose is Hindu. My daughter came up with the idea of taking a screenshot off one of the photos I had taken & cut & resize it and the printing it off with the rest of the titles. The result is as you see.

Superb photos, Malcolm. What you did for the Hindi titles is clever stuff! For different alphabets I normally just copy the text in the relevant language from a Wikipedia article and then print the decal as a Word document.

I'm not that technologically minded, but I usually get there.

Lovely looking kit.

What printer/decal paper do you guys use for the printing?

A lovely model I particularly like how you have got your backgrounds to look so right.

Printer in my case is an HP ENVY4527 and Crafty inkjet waterslide decal paper. It works OK if you print dark colours and place on very light colours.
