Macchi M.5
It's been a while since I've had a finished build to share, so I hoped to show you the latest one. This is my Nieuport-Macchi M.5 in the markings of Tenente di Vascello Alberto Bortolozzo from Squadriglia 260a, based at Saint Andrea Seaplane Station during 1918. The model is based on the 3D printed ...

Re: Valom Pfalz D.IIIA
A lovely model Joe and what a life story the pilot had, I wonder if there is a book out on it. Hi Terry, there is an excellent book on Degelow called Black Fokker Leader by Peter Kilduff. I can definitely recommend it. It's very well written and nicely illustrated, with some great colour profiles t...

Re: Valom Pfalz D.IIIA
That looks excellent, well done! I'm excited to see what else Valom comes up with in their WW1 range. It keeps getting better and better.

Re: de Havilland models
That is incredible! I would dearly love to be able to see this collection in person. It must have taken years of effort to produce.

That looks fantastic. I especially like the shot from above. The deck looks wonderfully detailed.

Re: Mitsubishi A5M2a conversions
I remember my parents wishing they'd never got me started too :) My first was the Airfix Hawker Siddeley Trident, back in 1973 if I remember rightly (I only recently twigged that it was probably 1/144 as well). I was going on 5 years old and my father decided it was something we could do together. H...

Re: Mitsubishi A5M2a conversions
Terry that's fantastic. What a wonderful thing to have!
I think my first was a V-1 carved from a wooden dowel and a iron nail on top for the engine. I still recall it from time to time, nearly 50 years on.

Mitsubishi A5M2a conversions
Hello all. These are my last two for the year. They are from the Sweet 2 in 1 kit of the A5M4, backdated to the A5M2a version. They have a much-modified fuselage to give them the narrow cross section. Plus the cowling and dorsal area was rebuilt and new windshield and slipper tanks were made. The un...

I would be curious to know more about the build too. It’s absolutely beautiful.
