SIG 144 Members forum

Here's my last completed 1/144 aircraft. Miniwing kit, started by a friend who is more used to much larger scales and gave up. The build was almost completed, I merely had to paint it (and add a new thinner prop). This was built as part of a club-wide GB to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the UN.

This aircraft actually belonged to the UN (most aircraft operated by the UN are not their property) and flew for numerous years in many parts of the world, including in Africa during the Congo crisis.
