The SIG had a cracking day out on Sunday. Rob always makes us welcome and this year called our bluff by giving us 24' of table space!
I think we rose top the Challenge, sadly Malcolm couldn't be with us but we still managed to field a respectable Yacht Club, alongside group themes including 'SeaSearch', 'Attack helicopters', Spitfires, Beaufighters, science fiction, large RAF transports, Orions, vignettes and, as ever a class of their own, Emma's magical buildings-with-stories.
David's Hart and Ferrari, Huw, Tim & Emma, and yours truly were joined by guest potential member Adrian
Thanks to everybody's hard work a veritable cornucopia of 144ness attracted lots of attention all day, one chap enthusiastically filming Emma's wonderful creations told me that his modelling friends in (I think) Thailand would be bowled over with their detail and quality...........The missionary work continues !!
