Finished - Me-262 1945

Post by Rigged72 »

I'm excited to share my latest build: the legendary Messerschmitt Me-262 from Trumpeter in 1/144 scale! This unique diorama captures the aircraft in flight, soaring above a small, bomb-damaged scene, adding dynamic storytelling to the display.

Build Details:
Kit: Trumpeter 1/144 Messerschmitt Me-262
Display: Custom-built vignette featuring a war-torn landscape below the plane, enhancing the in-flight pose.
Modifications: Minimal but added extra detailing to the cockpit with a pilot figure and weathering for realism.
Vignette: Bomb-damaged urban terrain created with puddles, debris, and light weathering to set a gritty, wartime atmosphere.
This was a fun and challenging project, but I love how the in-flight effect turned out! Feel free to ask any questions about the process.

I'm loving these new takes on the in-flight scene, look really good and not regularly seen these days.
