The SIg had a great day out at Stafford yesterday. Huw, David, Tim, Emma and YT managed to show nearly 250 models (a record we think - possibly more as some of Tim 'n Emma's dioramas counted as one but had several models on!)

Emma's delightful buildings attracted a lot of interest, and it was noticeable that an increasing number of ladies appeared to be interested / fully engaged (as opposed to simply being there because their significant others were) We also had the first public airings of restored Mike McEvoy models - my TSR2 and David's Sperrin.
only 12 this year but by 'eck we filled it!

Team Tim 'n Emma generated a huge amount of interest, bringing a fresh perspective to the scale (not to mention considerable skill and modelling ability !)
