Cessna L-19E in the colours of French Army Light Aviation, based in Djibouti in 1981.
The kit is the lovely Miniwing clear-moulded example, with minor alterations based on reference photos - a heat shield around the exhausts being the main one.
Decals are from a Berna sheet which suffered terrible decentration on the mini upper wing roundels - fortunately images show these as optional so I left them off.
The jeeps are Arrowhead whitemetal pieces, based on reference photos online of piles of abandoned French paratroopers Hotchkiss manufacturered jeeps in Djibouti.
