USAF Heavy Lifters

Post by MalcolmR »

Hi hope all is well with you all.
Just finished a couple of USAF heavy lifters. Both are the Roden kits. I opened the freight loading doors for the C-124 And made a load for it.

What David said - cracking job - is the load a 144Sqdn Thor missile ?

Roden are hard work sometimes but there's a good model in there as you so ably demonstrate, beautiful !

The Thor ICBM was scratched built. I used a Saturn second stage engine I had spare. The main body was a short length of tube and the cradle and the engine protection framework also scratch built.

Hi Malcolm,

that is a stunning collection, thank you for showing them. The last image, where did you get the tow tractor, or did you scratchbuild it? I want to make a 3D printed version for a V bomber build but don't have enough details, can you help?

cheers,
Mike
