Republic F-108A Thunderwarrior
Here is the 1/144 Anigrand kit, modified to represent the later design, with a more conventional exhaust and re-worked nose. Not the easiest resin kit to put together, lots of milliput required to fill in trenches (engraved panels) and poorly-fitting parts. Also detailled cockpit, missile bay and undercarriage. ‘What if’ California National Guard scheme in 1969 or so. What a beast this would have been..!

Thanks. I used various AK's Extreme Metal paints and those worked pretty well. Their resistance to masking tape surprised me.

Now THAT is a cracking model - especially given the Anigrand starting point !!
