I have also tackled the searchlight and search scanner on the rhs wing tank, a job I was not looking forward to, a bit of micro engineering that must allow the small vacform clear nosecone to fit over it.
Another bit of micro engineering that I accomplished earlier was the nose observer's foot rest made from very thin fuse wire.
It is good to have it finally stood on its undercarriage too.
I had always wanted to build the 1/72 Hasegawa Neptune but the size and space to store and display it now puts me off, whereas this 1/144 one sits on a sheet of A4 paper
