A new event to us and only in its second year of running, the model show at the North East Land Sea Air Museum (NELSAM) near Sunderland. This is the first time we have displayed in an air museum and it was great fun being alongside many real life aircraft, including this Jet Provost snout.

I brought along a selection of my classic canvas builds, covering a wide selection of time periods.

Emma Jane presented several of her pastoral scenes, alongside a couple of Gundams.
Lots of interest throughout the day and it was good to show off the hobby in general and the scale in particular to families and museum visitors who might not specifically have attended a model show.

Several other local clubs displayed across two hangars.

We actually got some sun in the afternoon in the hangar - possibly the first model show where I have ever got some suntanning!

We even had the excitement of unique parking - underneath the resident Vulcan bomber.
A really fun show and definitely one we will be adding to our annual calendar.
