I was surprised by the amount of interest my model of the Revell landing craft attracted at the Keithley Model Show so I thought I would post some photos on the forum.
I had originally made it as a full hull displayed on the kit supplied stand however, after making my model of the” Kriegsfischkutter” escort boat using “Scenic water system” I decided to slice off the bottom of LCM and place on a base so looks as though it is landing reinforcements to a quiet backwater island beach hence the relaxed crew attitude. The reason for doing this was to try using the “Scenic water system” again.

Lovely job on the camo scheme too (I was going to say 'spot on' but a pun too far methinks). if it had been applied today they would call it 'digital' - then it was 'labour-intensive sailors with brushes'.
