Scale Scotland 2022

Post by HuwMorgan »

Due to the commitment of the main body of SIG showgoers to the St Ives show on the 25th October, Scale Scotland turned into a solo show by yours truly on Saturday the 24th. Leld at its traditional Murrayfield Stadium venue in Edinburgh after a COVID absence of 2 years the show was well attended, mostly by clubs and Traders from Scotland and the North East. The venue is attractive albeit a bit long and narrow with a fairly low ceiling, although it's pretty light. Despite us being short-notice attendees, the organising clubs were very welcoming and the whole thing was well organised, including the bacon rolls during setup. As a consequence of the narrow space, the tables were all 70cm deep, which wasn't too much of a problem for small models. Definitely one for next year's calendar.

A very good solo display, making great use of the available space.

Well earned award too for a lovely model.

Nice one Huw, a great solo effort, your SU 24 was right on subject.
