Another Prototype
This was a French prototype of the late 40s, intended to supplement or replace those B-17 survey aircraft. It looks a bit like a Republic Rainbow on a very low budget. The model is a classic kitbash including Tamiya 1/100 Il-28, Crown B-17 and Minicraft KC-97 bits and quite a lot of Milliput and pla...
SE100
Continuing the theme of "An Industry of prototypes", here is my attempt at a SNCASE SE100. This is one where the model honestly does come out better than the photo. A SNCASE SE1010 is under way - which looks like a Republic Rainbow drawn by somebody who couldn't do aeroplanes.

HP47
Horrible general purpose aircraft to Specification G.4/31. I wish silver paint didn't photograph so grainy.

McDonnell 119
My first completed model for the hoped for SMW 2021. My theme will be "An Industry of Prototypes" and any SIG members who wish to join this will be most welcome. I define a prototype as an aircraft which never entered service; a Hawker Henley would not count but a Hawker Tornado or Hotspur...

Vehicle Plans
I've just come across a very useful source of information for diorama builders. There is an excellent store of downloadable 1:76 plans of military vehicles, including quite a range of airfield vehicles, at http://mickbellplans.com/category/uncategorised/ These are drawings by the late Mick Bell whic...

We've already got penguins on the stand and now we can have horses, too. Love the weathering on your cutting mat!
Re: KC-10
Beautiful panel detail!
