Re: More Airfix but not Airfix

Just had a couple of models from Raymond to see what they are like. I have now just sent for some more. They are excellent. Love them.

Saw this photo of the US Coast Guard 83ft. Patrol Cutter USCG 20 beached on the Normandy coast under repair so decided to finish the Black Cat Models kit in this setting. Really nice model. Hope everyone is well and enjoying their modelling.

Re: Tupelov G.5 MTB

Overall very nice although the were a few air bubbles on the bottom of the hull but I did not fill them as they would not be seen. The fit of the kit was very good. the guns, masts, prop shafts & torpedo guides for the hull rear were VERY delicate so I gave them a coat of thin super glue while s...

Tupelov G.5 MTB

Just finished my latest boat. It,s the Brengun Tupelov G.5 MTB. Thought I would make it in a docking scene as I believe these boats had a problem with salt water corrosion so this gave me the opportunity to show the whole boat out of the water. As you can see the figure standing on the deck must hav...

GWH Gigantic. Really nice build. I've added sand & dust as I intend to add it to a desert base. Props need painting in dark green.
