Fund raising appeal.
Looking for funds to repaint a much-neglected exhibit at the museum. (Maybe a winner of some high paying competition)
If and when funds are raised it would then be a difficult decision on whether to finish it as is, or to repaint it as the iconic BEA scheme. Also, will have to replace some of the less than perfect windows which do let in a bit of rainwater. The aircraft will remain open to the museum's visitors for as long as it is safe to allow excess
A worthy cause deserving of support - very soft spot for Invicta - there was a time when they were my local airline.
Of course it will have to be restored as a fully inter-active experience for the visitors with virtual tours hosted by a cute CGI character who will explain all parts of the giant plane including the whirly things at the front................providing of course you have the app and £37.50..............
