Re: More Airfix but not Airfix

So, I'll try to do like Tim ... Tell a story.... In late 1947, early 1948, the newly independent India ordered a batch of Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Tr.IX for its Air Force. During a test flight, one of the factory pilots crashed, but the aircraft was not too damaged, it was returned to the factory for...

Re: Manchurian Airforce Ki-21 Sally (Aoshima)

I looked briefly after seeing the KG144 thread. I did not see anything concerning a Sonia in Manchukuo (in any case, no photo).
But I'll check it out better in the next few days.

Re: Manchurian Airforce Ki-21 Sally (Aoshima)

Superb! But even if there is nothing on the bird that you have just finished, for your next planes of Manchukuo, you need this book, alas out of print, but very interesting and well illustrated, edited by Arawasi (their blog also is interesting : http://arawasi-wildeagles.blogspot.com/ ) Arawasi.jpg

Re: Airfix in scale 1/144

And here are other models in 1/144 whose purchase or assembly were directly inspired by Airfix because, first of the boxart ... (let's be frank, it's been dreaming ... ), then of the decoration or the plane itself. Airfix Auster Aop.jpg Airfix Auster Aop-2.JPG Airfix Boulton Paul Defiant.jpg A...

Re: More Airfix but not Airfix

Sorry Terry, the Whirlwind is not a kit .... It is part of the "dark side" of my collection.... fully finished diecast models... It is a metal model from Diverse Images. Sorry, I'm ashamed ...  But the good news is, you can do it as a kit.... I had not presented it yet, but I a...

Airfix in scale 1/144

While putting away my models of planes, I realized that a certain number represented Airfix models.
